Spring 2021 AZM2 Testing

​The AZM2 Test will be given this spring. It is mandated by federal law and Arizona Revised Statute 15-701.  Both on campus and on-line students are required to take the test in person at the school. However, students who are ill on their scheduled test day should not come to school and will be allowed to make up the test when they are feeling better.  If a student has chronic health issues that have prevented them from attending on campus or live with someone who is vulnerable to Covid-19, then special accommodations will be made to test them in an area by themselves or when other students are not present.  If your student needs special testing accommodations, please contact the school office to make arrangements.


On campus 3rd graders will test on 4-12-21, 4-14-21, 4-19-21, 4-21-21, and 4-24-21.


On-line 3rd graders will test on 4-13-21, 4-15-21, 4-20-21, 4-22-21, and 4-27-21.


​On campus 4th graders will test on 4-13-21, 4-14-26, 4-28-21, 5-3-21, and 5-5-21.

On-line 4th graders will test on 4-14-21, 4-27-21, 4-29-21, 5-4-21, and 5-6-21.


All 5th graders will test on 4-13-21, 4-14-26, 4-26-21, 4-27-21, 4-28-21 and 4-29-21.


All 6th graders will test on 4-14-26, 4-26-21, 4-27-21, 4-28-21 and 4-29-21.


All 7th graders will test on 4-14-26, 4-26-21, 4-27-21, 4-28-21 and 4-29-21.

COVID-19 Risk Mitigation Plan

Description:

Destiny School desires to contract with a Caterer to provide meals for our SFA’s food service program. Offers received by the correct time and date will be opened and the name of each Offeror will be publicly read. Offers must be in the actual possession of Destiny School on or prior to the time and date, and at the submittal location indicated. Late offers will not be considered. Offers must be submitted in a sealed envelope or package with the Solicitation Number and the Offeror’s name and address clearly indicated on the envelope or package. 

Proposals will be accepted until May 5, 2021 at 01:00pm at 798 E Prickly Pear Dr., Globe, AZ 85501.

Onsite Learning and Support Services

Beginning August 17, 2020, in compliance with Executive Orders 2020-41 and 2020-51, Destiny School will be making  on-site support services available  at the Destiny School Campus.to all students requiring special support, including special education, English language learners, and those residing in foster care settings.


Additionally, beginning August 17, 2020, on-site learning and monitoring at the Destiny School Campus.will be available for students that have nowhere else to go,  Students will be supervised while they participate in distance learning classes. 


On-site learning and support services will be available Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm excluding Holidays and breaks.

Attention:

A.R.S. § 15-802(B) requires school districts and charter schools to obtain and maintain verifiable documentation of Arizona residency upon enrollment in an Arizona public school. This document is designed to assist school districts and charter schools in meeting the legal requirements of the statute.

If you have received notification from Destiny School that you need to provide proof of residency, please bring this in as soon as possible.  Your student may be removed from class if we do not get this information.

Full Time On-Campus Learning Available to Every Student 

Beginning ​March 15th, all students may attend classes on campus.  Bussing and School lunches are available.  Students may remain online, but it is much better for them to be at school. Please, call the school office if you have any questions.
